At the end of each year it’s good to take some time to contemplate the events of the last twelve months and look forward to what’s on the horizon. For myself and my business partners, Brendan and Simon, December 2016 saw us take the leap away from a safe and sound environment of some 15 years, into the great unknown, as we launched our business, Keep Wealth Partners.
To say it was both exciting and daunting is an understatement and significant gratitude goes to our families who have encouraged and supported us through the last twelve months. The first half of 2017 saw us working hard to secure our own financial services licence, an office and put in place all the necessary policies and procedures as well as build our website. Thankfully, we were able to officially launch the business on 1 July 2017 and with the fantastic support of our clients who have already joined us we are pleased to say that the business is now profitable and will enter the new year going from strength to strength.
Despite the emergence of our business, 2017 was not all about us! We’ve witnessed political uncertainty at home and around the globe but despite this, investment markets have simply shrugged off the news, remained calm and kept climbing.
