Andrew has 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Starting out as a financial planner he moved to Bendigo Bank in 2002 to focus on the technical side of the industry, heading up their Research, Technical and Training teams. Andrew had direct responsibility for the bank’s model portfolios and overall client investment outcomes and was the Bank’s investment representative on its key Investment Committees.
Joining Pitcher Partners in 2010 as Chief Investment Officer, Andrew led a team of five analysts covering all aspects of investment and economic strategy. With a particular focus on high net worth investors, Andrew’s team had responsibility for $3 billion in funds under advice.
Andrew’s background is complemented by his qualifications and ongoing participation in industry and research discussion groups, events and seminars. He holds a Bachelor of Business, Economics and Finance (with Distinction) from RMIT, has completed the Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1 through the CFA Institute and is RG146 compliant. Andrew is highly regarded throughout the research industry.
The father of two girls (one teenager) Andrew spends much of his time outside the office in the twilight zone of being both the best and worst dad in the world. In his spare time, you can find Andrew down at the Williamstown Bowls Club.
