As we rapidly move into 2019, we’d like to take the opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas, a healthy, happy and prosperous year ahead, and safe travels if you’re getting away over the holidays.
Last year we reflected on starting our business which, with the support and referrals from our families, friends and clients, continues to grow. When we established the business, our aim was to work with professionals and business owners, through to high net worth retirees and help them secure the lifestyles that they dreamt about. It’s pleasing to note that we are well along that path with a broad mix of clients in three Australian states.
This year our reflection is on the finance industry as a whole. There’s been intense media attention brought to bear through the Royal Commission which we wrote extensively on in May and again earlier this month. Sweeping changes are surely on the way and we welcome any measures that increase the standards of financial advice in Australia. We hope that as the findings from the Royal Commission are released early next year, our clients can take comfort from our independence, transparency on fees and focus on putting their needs first.
Industries and businesses change over time and we continue to look for ways to enhance our clients’ experience and improve the ease with which they engage with their finances, goals and objectives. In the New Year we will be launching new capabilities that we hope will deliver on these aims.
Stay tuned, Santa is bringing some client enhancements.
Again, Andrew, Brendan and I all wish you a very Merry Christmas.
